OZW (Onkel Zbyndas Winterrock) were one of the more known bands of the Czech New Wave at the beginning of the 80‘s. From the very beginning the band used masks and stylised themselves into little stupid half-robots, who produced an uncommonly raw rock rumble. Equipment: oxyacetylene welder, chain saw, grinding machine, motor-bike etc. In their lyrics you‘ll find a fantasmagoric world of absurd, intensive black humour. Apart from their own music the band cheekily make covers of songs of Kraftwerk or Snakenfinger from Residents. Both CD and MC, Czech lyrics, plenty of photos. CD includes 6 bonus tracks, oruginal ecorded for 1990 EP.
