Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros : Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years

Joe Strummer (rodným jménem John Graham Mellor; 21. srpna 1952 Ankara –22. prosince 2002 Broomfield) byl britský kytarista a zpěvák punkové skupiny The Clash a později skupiny Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros. Skupinu The Clash založil roku 1976 spolu s basákem Paulem Simononem, kytaristou Keithem Levenenem a bubeníkem Terrym Chimesem. Dne 22. prosince 2002 ve svém domě zemřel na vrozenou srdeční vadu.

Kompilace „Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years“ je prvním uceleným pohledem na tvorbu Joe Strummera vobdobí spolupráce skapelou The Mescaleros. Obsahuje tři společná alba „Rock Art and the X-Ray Style“(1999), „Global a Go-Go“(2001)aposmrtné„Streetcore“(2003).
