Docuku : Domrtě!

A six-member group Docuku come from Valašské Meziříčí, where they also live and compose. The name of the band was taken from a regional dialect spoken in Valašsko and means “come on" or “hurry up”, which is reflected in a substantial part of its repertoire. Their brisk, melodious songs, which mix folklore and bigbeat, draw on folk heritage, particularly Moravian-Silesian, Polish, Slovak and Balkan. Connection of the musicians with the music of Valašsko region is apparent from original arrangements and even the songs themselves, which are built up of folklore and rock or love ballad elements. After their first successful album Meziřící released three years ago, Docuku! come up with a new one, bearing a characteristic name Domrtě!
